Home Friendship Groups.
|

It's not new. In fact it's quite old. The first church met regularly in homes, yet people all across this nation are discovering for the first time the power that comes with such an intimate
gathering.
Fellowship: We start off with fellowship and a light snack. Here we enjoy the intimate company of others of like faith. So many people feel lost and lonely in churches without the close friendship in a small group. That's one reason why Home Friendship
Groups are so important to a healthy, growing church.
Sharing: Everyone has a testimony, a psalm, a scripture. Everyone has something to share. Here we share what God has done in our lives recently, things He has shown us or helped us with. It's a time to praise God and encourage others.
Worship: With song and praise, we lift up the name of Jesus. It only takes two gathered together in His name in order for Jesus to be in the midst of them. We experience the presence of God like in a regular service, only in an intimate setting.
Edification: We enjoy a light study of scriptures to bring edification and spiritual maturity. The topics are relevant and meaningful.
Prayer: We pray together. We pray in unity. Do you have a need you'd like someone to pray for? Jesus said if two will agree in prayer it will be done by the Father in heaven.
When Jesus is the focus and we are gathered to be participants, Home Friendship Groups allow each person to minister and to grow greatly. Home Friendship Groups are open to everyone, stranger or friend! And infact everyone is encouraged
to become a participant in a Home Friendship Group as part of our purpose as a healthy soul winning congregation.
